Job Overview

N.Y. Home Maint. Co. Inc. is seeking an experienced and driven Inside Service Manager - HVAC to lead and support our team of talented HVAC Service Technicians. Based in our Pleasantville office, this leadership role is essential in maintaining our high standards of service, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in HVAC service management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for mentoring and developing team members. Knowledge of plumbing is a plus!

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the HVAC service department
  • Provide technical guidance and support to HVAC service technicians in the field
  • Prioritize and dispatch service calls to ensure timely and efficient responses
  • Review work orders for accuracy and completion
  • Act as point of contact for technicians and escalate complex service issues as needed
  • Manage timely ordering and delivery of materials
  • Conduct performance evaluations and mentor technicians through training and development
  • Track job progress, quality control, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on service strategy, staffing, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in HVAC service management (field and office-based)
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and diagnostics
  • Leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred
  • Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with HVAC dispatching software or service management platforms
  • Universal EPA Certification required
  • OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Knowledge of plumbing is a plus
