Spa/Salon Attendant 

Ethos Day Spa & Salon is seeking a unique and motivated individual to join our team. We operate in a busy, upscale environment and are looking for candidates who can provide the high level of professionalism and superb customer experience our clientele expects.

Position Summary:

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the spa and salon areas, supporting the smooth flow of operations, and providing attentive service to our guests to ensure a tranquil and luxurious experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness throughout the spa and salon, including light cleaning duties.
• Keep locker rooms and linen supplies fully stocked.
• Assist in turning around treatment rooms and salon stations efficiently between clients.
• Serve tea and water to guests.
• Issue spa lockers, robes, and slippers to guests and escort them to their lockers.
• Provide orientation tours of the spa amenities, explaining offerings and answering guest questions.
• Consistently monitor the locker/facility area to maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment.
• Maintain accurate supply lists and inventory sheets; inform management when stock is low.
• Assist with unpacking retail shipments, including lifting boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Review guest appointments/schedules as needed to support operations.
• Utilize spa computer systems proficiently and document guest information accurately in electronic records as directed.
• Actively promote spa treatments, services, sessions, retail products, programs, promotions, and discounts.
• Maintain complete confidentiality in all guest matters in accordance with company policy.
• Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously, providing accurate and immediate responses to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain eye contact and develop professional, personalized relationships with regular guests.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Communicate any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well with both staff and clients.
• Friendly personality and a positive attitude.
• Self-motivated with good time management skills.
• Ability to excel in providing superb customer experience
• High standards of personal and professional work.
• Ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at the assigned post for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry linens, trash, and boxes up to 50 pounds.
• Must be of legal employment status.
• Ability to be on time for shifts and maintain a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays .
• Ready to begin training and work immediately.
